China TieTong to Embark on IP Network Expansion with Huawei's Routers

Chinese telecom equipment supplier Huawei recently announced that the company is going to supply its NE5000E core routers to China TieTong to support the expansion of CTTNET, according to an August 3, 2010 press release by Huawei.
CTTNET
is a high-speed broadband IP network spanning the entire country and is run by China TieTong, a 100% subsidiary of China Mobile. It is expected that China TieTong broadband subscriber base will grow by 35%, reaching 10 million by the end of 2010, and annual growth rate of traffic on CTTNET is estimated at 70% to 100%, according to Huawei.
